E-yantra is a project supported by MHRD to spread education in robotics and embedded systems in India. Under this collaboration with IIT Bombay, the institute has established a Robotics Lab. The lab is well equipped with various Robotic kits. It aims to provide hands-on learning-infrastructure to students and teachers through application of maths, computer science, and engineering principles. The students actively participate in developing robotic applications.


SIES Graduate School of technology has been given the status of remote centre of IIT Bombay which is part of the National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD, Govt. of India). It acts as the intermediary between IIT Bombay and the participating teachers during the workshop. The workshops are conducted in the distance mode, using A-VIEW software and Internet.

Many workshops were conducted for students and faculties through the remote center.


The Computer Center provides advanced computing facilities to the academic and administrative community of the college and plays a critical role in helping to keep the college at the leading edge of information technology by continuously enhancing and upgrading its facilities. The center is equipped with the latest hardware and software facilities with modern computers all well networked with 24 hour internet facility. It is not only a platform for the students to sharpen their computer skills but also provides support & guidance to the students taking up projects in the field of software.


We have an excellent intranet facility available in college campus, which provides a wide variety of features in a single click. This enables students and teachers to extract all administrative and academic information on regular basis and permit them to interact with the system in a desired manner. Students are allowed to access academic information and campus event's information with simple one time registration.

The software - Moodle is targeted to cover different sections like e-mail for faculties, training and placement department information, on-line library information, staff area with circulars and student section with examination marks and performances, attendance, extra classes schedule etc. parent's section to keep a watch on their ward and many more critical areas. In short, this WLAN installed is the backbone of complete communication. We aim to set out institute as future model of the "Paperless Digital Institute for others to follow". This setup will be made online to allow interactions between students, parents with the faculty members.

A 6 Mbps leased line connection for internet connectivity is provided in the Mobile Communication, GiS Labs, Project Lab for students for the projects during the final year of their curriculum.



The whole campus is connected through Wi-Fi connectivity on a 140 Mbps line.


The Language laboratory, Drawing hall and the mechanical workshop comprising of Fitting Shop, Metal shop, Foundry Shop, Carpentry Shop have been well developed. Physics & Chemistry Laboratories and Applied Mechanics Laboratories have been provided with latest equipments for conducting experiments for the benefit of the students in understanding the basic concepts and underlying applications of science in Engineering.

SIES Graduate School of technology has two auditoriums. With a combined capacity of over 200 students and boasting of state of the art Audio - Visual system, these auditoriums are perfectly suitable for the various activities conducted by the students (workshops, seminars) as well as the college (placement activities).


The institute is part of the MHRD funded Aakash project in collaboration with IIT Mumbai for testing, and deploying Aakash tablets, and for developing useful applications and contents, for empowerment of teachers and students. Under this project, the objective is to test and enhance the effectiveness of these tablets for use in a class-room environment and development of new educational applications and contents on Aakash, largely through final year R&D projects done by BE students.

The canteen offers fresh snacks, beverages and lunch at subsidized prices. Besides, the canteen space is ideal for congregational activities of students.


The facility of a well equipped gymnasium with modern fitness equipments and the services of a professional trainer is available in the campus for students at subsidized charges.
